DANCER INFORMATION

CHARACTERS / COSTUMES

Everything you need to know about your dancer’s participation in Peter Pan.

Dance Stage Makeup

Stage lighting can wash out facial features, so stage makeup is required to help every dancer’s features remain visible and defined under the lights. Please ensure your dancer wears appropriate stage makeup suited to their age and comfort level.

Younger Dancers

Foundation is not necessary for younger dancers.

  • Blush

  • Brown eyeshadow

  • Red lipstick

  • Mascara, if comfortable

Older Dancers

Older dancers should wear a more defined stage makeup look.

  • Foundation

  • Blush

  • Brown / dark brown eyeshadow

  • Red lipstick

  • Mascara

  • Black eyeliner

  • Darkened brows

  • White liner in water line

  • False lashes are encouraged for a polished stage look

Male Dancers

Male dancers should keep their makeup natural while ensuring their features are visible under the stage lighting.

  • Brown eyeshadow

  • Natural brown lip colour or lip balm

  • Light bronzer to help balance facial features under stage lighting

  • Mascara is optional
